The Mo Ibrahim Governance Weekend is held every year in a different African country.
This year at the three-day event in Abidjan, prominent African leaders in politics, business, civil society come together to debate and discuss the issues facing Africa in 2019.
It begins with a Leadership Ceremony which this year will celebrate the life of former UN Secretary-General and great African leader, Kofi Annan.
The main event is the Ibrahim Forum, a high-level discussion to tackle emerging challenges in Africa and set priorities to address them. This year, the Forum is focused on African migrations.
